More than 300 pupils from local secondary schools have enjoyed taster sessions in some of the London 2012 Paralympic sports. Thanks to Paralympic roadshows organised by Sport Pembrokeshire, the pupils had a go at the sports of wheelchair basketball, sitting volleyball and boccia.

Students from Ysgol Dewi Sant. Tasker MilwarDSCN0831d School, Portfield School, Ysgol Bro Gwaun and Greenhill School all participated in the event.  ‘Wheelchair basketball was definitely the favourite sport with many pupils looking to join the club,’ said Angela Miles, the disability sport officer for Pembrokeshire County Council.
