Conwy Thunder is the only wheelchair sport club in Conwy and one of four wheelchair basketball clubs in North Wales. The club is extremely inclusive and caters for disabled and non disabled juniors and seniors.
Wheelchair basketball embraces a wide range of disabilities including paraplegics, spina bifida, amputees, cerebral palsy, brittle bones and multiple sclerosis.
You do not need to be a wheelchair user to play wheelchair basketball and Conwy Thunder strive to provide a fun, social environment for all club members as well as supporting those players who have the talent and commitment through the performance pathways all the way up to the Paralympics.
