Local Players head for Newport to play in a one day International between England and Wales Disability Cricket .
Newport born Cricketer Ryan Coster will be hoping to build on the success of winning against Mid England at last Sundays , CFPD Luctonians match where he represented Mid Wales on the 12th of July 2009..
On Sunday 19th of July , Spytty Park will again, play host to an England v Wales International , organised by the Cricket Federation for People with a Disability .
Ryan will be hoping to gain valuable experience in a Sport which he has only been playing two years .
Disability Sport Wales Officer, Beverley Tucker , has been involved in the Development of the game for Juniors for over six years .
" There is a real buzz following the recent Ashes game in Cardiff , and more players are taking up the sport each year . A new junior club has been set up at Sophia Gardens and more people are making enquiries, as to how they can get involved in a sport, which offers clear pathways to Competitive and Recreational opportunities.
If any new players are interested in taking part, play gets underway , this Sunday at 11am at Spytty Park Cricket Ground , Newport.
where there will the opportunity to watch the International match , or take part in the developmental game.
All disabilities , ages welcome .
