Cleddau Warriors Presentation Evening

Cleddau Warriors football club held their first presentation evening last Friday at Clarbeston Road memorial hall. The club has had a very successful season and now has over 30 members.  This season Cleddau Warriors has been playing in the newly formed South West Wales disability football league organized by the FAW Trust. 

All members were presented with medals on the evening by the club's coaches Huw Bevan and Delwyn Lewis.  Individual trophies were presented for Player of the Year to Emyr Thomas under 12s, Jack Surtees under 16 and Adam John over 16.  Most Improved Player to Sam Russell under 12, Lee Butland under 16 and Brian Murrow over 16.  The medals and trophies were sponsored by Chevron, unfortunately Mr. Phil Thompson was unable to attend. 

The club coaches, all from Clarbeston Road FC, Huw Bevan, Delwyn Lewis, Steve Brown and Tom Bevan were presented with a gift in appreciation of all their hard work over the season.   Angela Miles disability sport officer for Pembrokeshire was presented with a bouquet of flowers, Angela congratulated the club on their achievements this year and thanked all coaches, players and their families for their continued support. 

After the presentations the guests were entertained by 'Wings of Pembrokeshire' a music group which 10 Cheddar Warriors members belong.
