This is an outdoor activity club for adults with support needs, which runs throughout the year, currently offering hill and coastal walking, climbing and abseiling.
The Staff:
The project has a pool of experienced and qualified outdoor pursuits instructors to call upon, all of whom have experience of working with people with support needs and hold the appropriate NGB qualifications for the activities undertaken.
What is included?
We provide all the specialist equipment required, and have a range of basic waterproofs, walking boots and rucsacs that are available on loan.
WALKING
The club meets 1.00pm-1.15pm on Tuesdays for walking activities around the Snowdonia National Park and surrounding areas, returning to Sackville Road about 5pm.
Cost £10 per session.
CLIMBING
The club also meets on Thursdays 1.00pm-1.15pm for climbing activities (weather permitting) , returning to Sackville Road about 5pm. Should the fickle Welsh weather make it impractical to climb outside we have a small indoor climbing wall of our own we can use.
Cost £10 per session.
