SOUTH WALES MULTI-SPORT FESTIVAL

21 Maw 2007

The festival will enable over 150 children to compete against participants with similar impairments from across the South East of Wales, as one of the biggest events for young disabled children in the area.

It is the first year Monmouthshire have been awarded the honour of holding the event and will now join Cardiff, Bridgend and the Vale of Glamorgan as a host authority.

Competitors will have a chance to test their skills at thirteen different activities from wheelchair football, target curling, tail-ball throw, with extra activity ‘zones’ where entrants can try their hand at sports such as tennis and cricket.

Media are invited to attend the pre-event press conference on Wednesday 28th March at Monmouth Leisure Centre from 10.30am.
