CLUB INFO.....
The Celtic Warriors are the new look version of the Chester Wheelchair Jets - due to the Chester Jets changing management committee and name, the Wheelchair Jets had to have a name change too. The 2007/2008 season will not only see a name change but will see the team playing in the second division of the GB National league following promotion at the end of the 2006/2007 season. They also play a number of friendly games to give all members the opportunity to play matches.
The club attracts players from all over Cheshire and North Wales and even have players from as far afield as Dublin!
We moved to train and play all our matches at Darland Sports Centre, Wrexham and have done since 2005. We are thoroughly enjoying our time there.
Wheelchair Basketball can be played by people with and without disabilities - our club welcomes players of all ages and abilities. So come and have a go – we guarantee you will enjoy it ….
We have a number of Club owned Basketball wheelchairs you can use and we also have access to a number of grant awarding organisations who assist us with purchasing chairs for players.
Club training is Saturday afternoons 12.50pm - 5.00pm at Darland Sports Centre in Rossett, Nr Wrexham. New players and spectators are always welcome. (please contact us before you come down)
The club has made a number of changes to its personnel this season which is certainly going to make for exciting times at the Warriors.
The Warriors have introduced a new training session especially for new Senior and Junior players aged 6 and above – any disability, any age, any ability.

West of Scotland - Sunday 9th March – 12.30pm (venue confirmed as Darland Sports Centre)

Junior Session - 12.50pm - 1.40pm
Development team training session - 1.40pm - 2.30pm
