Merthyr Dragons Football Club is a very friendly and experienced football club with a large number of children who regularly attend.
The coaches who take the sessions are Ian Landers and Chris Churchill. Both are FAW C license accredited football coaches. Both coaches are also currently involved in coaching women's football and have done this for several years.
Currently the club trains on a Wednesdays at Pen-Y-Dre High School Sports Hall from 7pm - 8pm.
Merthyr Dragons also play competitive matches against other disability teams in the South Wales area. The FAW trust has organised a tournament every month so the team will always have a competitive opportunity if they wish to participate.
The club can cater for boys and girls with numerous disabilities. The age range for the current participants is 16-19 but the club is going to be setting up sessions for younger groups in the near future.
