Brecon Integrated Sports Association

The club takes place during term time, on Friday evenings from 7pm - 8pm in the Sportshall at Brecon Leisure Centre.

It is open to all disabilities, and specifically caters for children and young people. Children under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult.

The cost is £2 per week.

The club offers opportunities to take part in Trampolining, Indoor Athletics, Football, Cricket, Basketball, Boccia, Kurling, table tennis and short tennis.

We have two qualified level 2 coaches and rely on a rota of students to volunteer.

During the holidays, outdoor activity days are offered in Sailing, Canoeing and Horse Riding, all which take place in the Brecon Beacons National Park.

The club has been running for five years, and has entered teams and individuals in local and regional competitions in Cricket , Football, Boccia and Multisport.

For 2008, the club are affiliating to Special Olympics Wales and hope to create more opportunities for taking part in the process.

Volunteers are welcome and further training will be given to volunteers subject to a current CRB check.
