Georgetown Multisport Club is a friendly, vibrant club that has been running since March 2007, and has a large number of regular participants creating a great social atmosphere.
The club runs every Thursday from 5pm - 6pm and the head coach is Mandy Keating who has a C licence in football coaching and has been part of numerous teams throughout Merthyr. In 2006 Mandy won the Football Association of Wales coach of the year due to her outstanding commitment and ability to get the best out of players.
With Mandy there are also 3-4 assistant coaches who help run the sessions. There are numerous sports that take place, these include Football/ Mini Table Tennis/ Volleyball/ Tennis/ Boccia/ New Age Kurling and many more.
The sessions cost £1.50 per child and everyone is welcome. The age range of the club is 7-18 years but children under the age of 7 can attend if they have a Parent/Guardian with them at all times.
If your child needs one to one support the club cannot offer this but there is nothing stopping your child coming and as a parent / guardian you can join in and give the support your child needs.
