Gwent Dragons is under NEW MANAGEMENT and has changed its sporting direction to boccia and fitness sessions.
Gwent Dragons was a multi sports club for people with disabilities and their non disabled family and friends and has always been run by its members.
After feedback from its members a decision was made to move the sports session from Sundays to a Thursday evening and has reduced the amount of sports offered to only boccia and fitness for the moment, specifically targeting participants with cerebral palsy or neurological condition that has a similar effect, such as muscular dystrophy or traumatic brain injury.
Over the years the Gwent Dragons club has had members who have excelled in their chosen sports and have moved on from the club achieving Paralympic status, it is hoped by changing the sporting direction that the club can again develop players to Paralympic levels.
Club Info Club meets every Thursday 6.00pm - 7.00pm. It advised you contact the club before attending the session. The club is suitable for all ages.
