Ceredigion
Hello! Welcome to Ceredigion's page on the Disability Sport Wales Website. Firstly allow me to introduce myself. My name is Gemma Cutter, your Disability Sport Wales Development Officer. I am based with the Sports Development Unit at Ceredigion's County Council Department of Education and Community Services on the prom.
Within Ceredigion there are currently existing clubs and provisions offering a variety of sporting activities for people with disabilities, ranging from football, skiing, horse riding, multi sports, Boccia and Athletics. I am always looking to further develop these opportunities and the existing provisions. If you are an existing club who would like to be promoted as an inclusive club please contact me.
If there is a sport or activity you would like to try out or perhaps you have a suggestion on a new disability sports club or if you would like to get involved as a coach/volunteer, participant please feel free to contact me.
New clubs are opening all the time as the facilities become available and as more coaches/volunteers get involved, by continually checking the web site or contacting me you can check if we have something suitable for you.
If you think you would like to volunteer your services to a club there are always opportunities in Ceredigion. I can also assist you with coach education courses to become a qualified coach/volunteer in your chosen sport/activity as one of the many rewards of volunteering with Disability Sport.
So if you are a potential participant, or if you would like to help out in a club or become a sport coach there is a role for you! Without volunteers sport simply would not happen, so why not give it a go!
I also upate the website on a regular basis with news, events and up and coming courses to please check regularly!
I look forward to hearing from you soon!
