Hi and welcome to Disability Sport Wales in Denbighshire!
The current focuses for Denbighshire are:
Over the next couple of months we will be looking to establish badminton sessions in partnership with Vale Badminton Club within Rhyl. We are hoping to start the session in Febuary but will keep you up dated and I will post more information as and when I receive it.
To establish a disability football club in partnership with Rhuddlan FC and FAW Trust, based at Pengwern College. This will be for young people and adults, predominantly with learning disabilities.
Swimming sessions are currently taking place accross the county at various leisure centres, whether it be for fun, fitness or competition please go along and have a go.
Denbighshire also has a Sport Forum for Adults with Disabilities.
If you are interested in becoming involved with any of these programmes either as a volunteer a coach or as a member then please don't hesitate to contact me!
